Making time for you

So, learning to become a professional writer is an interesting path.  The key to this endeavor as I am told is to write, write, write…. practicing with one’s own blog page.  So here I am.  I love to write…. the question is, what is one’s topic?  I think we will start with something I know about.  That is my history – an auto bio in brief, or some little part.  Maybe in a novel tone……. oh, but first a little bit about right now.

I had to name my blog page with a “Johnny on the spot” name and it is well, kind of fun: “Making time for you.”  For me…. making time generally means, cleaning not hobbying or sporting, or playing, but cleaning.  Working 40+hours a week does not leave much time for house cleaning and organizing and the older I get the more difficult it is to move quickly and get the work done like I did when I was younger not to mention, the loss of enthusiasm.  “Insert ode to youth.” I remember being excited to get off from work to come home to organize my clothes closet or decorate the living room.  Those days have long gone now and replaced by the decision about which game I prefer to play on the computer. Its not just loss of enthusiasm, it is loss of vitality - I know many of you aging associates would agree. Youngster, enjoy your energy!

So, history – and this is brief as I do need to go do a few chores - ugh.  Born in Colorado, raised in Houston, TX and back to Colorado as a young adult.  There were a few earlier childhood years in Minnesota too.  Time flies and all too soon I have spent most of my life in Colorado.  Not that it is bad…. I am just clearly envious of those of you who have gotten some vacation time in the tropics.  So, making time for you in this aspect is – do not forget to have some fun while you are mobile enough to do so!  Yes, cleaning is rewarding because it provides one with that exhilarating feeling of accomplishment, but I would like that exhilarating feeling of accomplishment in the form of filling my bucket list with some of its important items too i.e., that trip to the tropics!
